REMNANTS OF CRYPTO-JEW AMONG HISPANIC AMERICANS This project began as a photography project long before any idea of publishing a book entered my mind. As time progressed, my interviews with descendants of Jews from the Spanish Inquisition increased. It was then that I decided to look for a publisher and found Floricanto Press. My goal is to educate, with the hope that many will find the truth about their heritage. The oral histories, accompanied by photographs, portray the lives of many whose families suffered at the hands of the Inquisition. Although this happened so many years ago, the forced conversions from Judaism to Catholicism are still very much alive in the hearts and minds of these people.
